He married Neita Ann Buckingham Marshall, Michigan, October 2, 1913. Neita was born Tonica, Illinois January 22, 1894. Neita is the daughter of Thomas Buckingham and Harriet Ursula Miller. At 25 years of age Neita became the mother of Myrtle Isadora Wales Marshall, Michigan, December 21, 1919. At 25 years of age Neita became the mother of Murtie Izora Wales Marshall, Michigan, December 21, 1919.

At 34 years of age Frank became the father of Myrtle Isadora Wales Marshall, Michigan, December 21, 1919. At 34 years of age Frank became the father of Murtie Izora Wales Marshall, Michigan, December 21, 1919.

Frank Raymond Wales and Neita Ann Buckingham had the following children:

2 i. Myrtle Isadora² Wales was born Marshall, Michigan December 21, 1919. Myrtle died April 8, 1920 Marshall, Michigan, at less than one year of age.

3 ii. Murtie Izora Wales was born Marshall, Michigan December 21, 1919. She married three times. She married Charles Mohr Marshall, Michigan. She married Clifford Pahl Albion, Michigan. Clifford became the father of Franklin Winsor Pahl Marshall, Michigan, November 21, 1946. Clifford became the father of Karen Kay Pahl Marshall, Michigan, February 18, 1948. Clifford became the father of Lillian Loretta Pahl June 6, 1954. Clifford became the father of Susan Renee Pahl December 15,1955. (See Clifford Pahl for the continuation of this line.) She married Kenneth Erickson Albion, Michigan, October 25, 1959.

At 26 years of age Murtie became the mother of Franklin Winsor Pahl Marshall, Michigan, November 21, 1946. At 28 years of age Murtie became the mother of Karen Kay Pahl Marshall, Michigan, February 18, 1948. At 34 years of age Murtie became the mother of Lillian Loretta Pahl June 6, 1954. At 35 years of age Murtie became the mother of Susan Renee Pahl December 15,1955.
