27. Thomas³ Buckingham (Thomas², Thomas¹) was born Old Saybrook, Middlesex County, CT September 29, 1670. Thomas died September 12, 1739 Lebanon, Connecticut, at 68 years of age.

He married Margaret Griswold Saybrook, Middlesex County, CT, December 16, 1691. Margaret was the daughter of Francis Griswold. Margaret became the mother of Thomas Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, January 24, 1692/93. Margaret became the mother of Samuel Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, September 26, 1694. Margaret became the mother of Jedediah Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, October 2, 1696. Margaret became the mother of Margaret Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, August 14, 1699. Margaret became the mother of Mary Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, February 10, 1701/02. Margaret became the mother of Mary Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, June 5, 1705. Margaret became the mother of Joseph Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, June 10, 1707. Margaret became the mother of Sarah Buckingham January 3, 1709/10.

At 22 years of age Thomas became the father of Thomas Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, January 24, 1692/93. At 23 years of age Thomas became the father of Samuel Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, September 26, 1694. At 26 years of age Thomas became the father of Jedediah Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, October 2, 1696. At 28 years of age Thomas became the father of Margaret Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, August 14, 1699. At 31 years of age Thomas became the father of Mary Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, February 10, 1701/02. At 34 years of age Thomas became the father of Mary Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, June 5, 1705. At 36 years of age Thomas became the father of Joseph Buckingham Lebanon, Connecticut, June 10, 1707. At 39 years of age Thomas became the father of Sarah Buckingham January 3, 1709/10.

Thomas Buckingham and Margaret Griswold had the following children:

57 i. Thomas⁴ Buckingham was born Lebanon, Connecticut January 24, 1692/93. He married Mary Parker.

58 ii. Samuel Buckingham was born Lebanon, Connecticut September 26, 1694.

59 iii. Jedediah Buckingham was born Lebanon, Connecticut October 2, 1696. He married Mary Haynes.

60 iv. Margaret Buckingham was born Lebanon, Connecticut August 14, 1699. She married Mr. Johnson.

61 v. Mary Buckingham was born Lebanon, Connecticut February 10, 1701/02. Mary died June 5, 1703 Lebanon, Connecticut, at 1 year of age.

62 vi. Mary Buckingham was born Lebanon, Connecticut June 5, 1705. She married Solomon Huntington.

63 vii. Joseph Buckingham was born Lebanon, Connecticut June 10, 1707. He married Sarah Fuller.

64 viii. Sarah Buckingham was born January 3, 1709/10. She married Mr. Crocker.
