7. William³ McCredy (John², Robert¹) was born September 4, 1794. William died February 4, 1874 at 79 years of age.

He married Elizabeth (Betsy) Springer. Elizabeth was born August 27, 1800. Elizabeth died February 4, 1874 at 73 years of age. At 20 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Anna McCredy February 27, 1821. At 22 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of John McCredy April 5, 1823. At 24 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Lewis McCredy July 14, 1825.

He was baptized Warrensburgh, NY, January 25, 1795. Religion: religion unknown. At 26 years of age William became the father of Anna McCredy February 27, 1821. At 28 years of age William became the father of John McCredy April 5, 1823. At 30 years of age William became the father of Lewis McCredy July 14, 1825.

William McCredy and Elizabeth (Betsy) Springer had the following children:

31 i. Jane⁴ McCredy. She married John Wick.

32 ii. Grace McCredy. She married Richard Owen.

33 iii. Anna McCredy was born February 27, 1821. Anna died June 19, 1824 at 3 years of age. Her body was interred June 1824 Warren, Herkimer, NY, McCredy Cemetery.

34 iv. John McCredy was born April 5, 1823. John died March 8, 1891 at 67 years of age. He married twice. He married Caroline Filkins. Caroline was born 1827. Caroline died June 3, 1888 at 60 years of age. He married Lucy Jane Beach. Lucy was born 1824. Lucy was the daughter of Isaac K Beach and Electa. Lucy died March 27, 1846 Warren Twp., Herkimer Co., N.Y., at 21 years of age.

35 v. Lewis McCredy was born July 14, 1825. Lewis died November 19, 1899 at 74 years of age. He married Rhoda Brown. Rhoda was born 1824. Rhoda died 1904 at 80 years of age.
