He married Marguerite F. Blasen June 1, 1929. Marguerite was born Easton Twp. December 9, 1907. At 25 years of age Marguerite became the mother of Joan Aline Caine Detroit, Michigan, March 6, 1933.

At 27 years of age Lewis became the father of Joan Aline Caine Detroit, Michigan, March 6, 1933.

Lewis Edwin Caine and Marguerite F. Blasen had the following child:

4 i. Joan Aline⁴ Caine was born Detroit, Michigan March 6, 1933. She married George Jan Hoelaars January 23, 1956. George was born Highland Park, Michigan March 28, 1934. George is the son of Gerritt Hoelaars and Florence Gulliford. At 23 years of age George became the father of Lynn Louise Hoelaars Ferndale, Michigan, January 11, 1958. At 24 years of age Joan became the mother of Lynn Louise Hoelaars Ferndale, Michigan, January 11, 1958.
