Ella was born Waterloo, Ontario, Canada April 5, 1858. Ella was the daughter of James McCready and Sarah Maria Geer-Gear. Ella died June 14, 1943 Clark Lake, Michigan, at 85 years of age. At 19 years of age Ella became the mother of Carl G. Lewis Clark Lake, Michigan, February 28, 1878. At 26 years of age Ella became the mother of Gara Franc Lewis Brooklyn, Michigan, June 2, 1884. At 30 years of age Ella became the mother of Dell Lewis Ionia. Michigan, March 20, 1889.

Edwin became the father of Carl G. Lewis Clark Lake, Michigan, February 28, 1878. Edwin became the father of Gara Franc Lewis Brooklyn, Michigan, June 2, 1884. Edwin became the father of Dell Lewis Ionia. Michigan, March 20, 1889.

Edwin Carlton Lewis and Ella V. McCready had the following children:

2 i. Carl G.² Lewis was born Clark Lake, Michigan February 28, 1878.

3 ii. Gara Franc Lewis was born Brooklyn, Michigan June 2, 1884. Gara died December 10, 1972 Ionia. Michigan, at 88 years of age. She married twice. She married John Martin. She married Frederick Robert Caine June 2, 1903. Frederick was born Ionia. Michigan December 12, 1876. Frederick was the son of Robert Caine and Francis Humphrey. Frederick died October 31, 1917 Ionia. Michigan, at 40 years of age. At 28 years of age Frederick became the father of Lewis Edwin Caine Ionia. Michigan, July 25, 1905. At 21 years of age Gara became the mother of Lewis Edwin Caine Ionia. Michigan, July 25, 1905.

4 iii. Dell Lewis was born Ionia. Michigan March 20, 1889.
