2 i. Ada² Kelsey. She married Ellis Buckingham Mount Pindus Twp, Oscoda County, Michigan, May 17, 1890. Ellis was born Connecticut April 12, 1849. Ellis was the son of Orrin Gilbert Buckingham and Francis J. Lewis. Ellis died March 2, 1934 Buried in Edmore, Montcalm County Michigan in Vi, at 84 years of age. He served in the military during war time March 15, 1865 Civil War. Served in the civil War, enlisted in Company F, of the 29th michigan Infantry, at Wtertown, Sanilac County Michigan for one year, age 17. Mustered March 16, 1865. Joined the regiment at Anderson Tennesee, march 30, 1865. Mustered out at Freesboro, TN September 6, 1865.

At 24 years of age Ellis became the father of Francis M. Buckingham Attica Twp, Lapeer County, Michigan, July 19, 1873. Ellis became the father of Fred Buckingham Abt 1876. Ellis became the father of Vynne Buckingham Michigan, abt 1878. At 31 years of age Ellis became the father of Flaid E. Buckingham November 14, 1880. At 32 years of age Ellis became the father of Claude Phillip Buckingham Foster Twp., Ogemaw Cty., Michigan, January 31, 1882. At 54 years of age Ellis became the father of George Buckingham August 6, 1903. (See Ellis Buckingham for the continuation of this line.)

Ada became the mother of George Buckingham August 6, 1903.
