144. Orrin Gilbert⁷ Buckingham (Gilbert⁶, Abel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Samuel³, Samuel², Thomas¹) was born New Milford, CT January 23, 1823. Orrin died September 29, 1894 Attica Twp, Lapeer County, Michigan, at 71 years of age. His body was interred 1894 Lapeer County, Michigan, Mt. Hope.

He married twice. He married Francis J. Lewis November 2, 1845. Francis was the daughter of George Lewis. Francis became the mother of Able Buckingham February 20, 1847. Francis became the mother of Ellis Buckingham Connecticut, April 12, 1849. Francis became the mother of Francis Mary Buckingham New Milford, CT, July 20, 1852. He married Hannah Dexter Swift March 8, 1853. Hannah was the daughter of Alden Swift and Lucinda Geer. Hannah became the mother of Hannah Dexter Buckingham Juanuary 24, 1854. Hannah became the mother of John Alden Buckingham August 12, 1858. Hannah became the mother of Lavinia Buckingham May 15, 1863. Hannah became the mother of Gilbert Buckingham January 24, 1868.

At 24 years of age Orrin became the father of Able Buckingham February 20, 1847. At 26 years of age Orrin became the father of Ellis Buckingham Connecticut, April 12, 1849. At 29 years of age Orrin became the father of Francis Mary Buckingham New Milford, CT, July 20, 1852. At 31 years of age Orrin became the father of Hannah Dexter Buckingham Juanuary 24, 1854. At 35 years of age Orrin became the father of John Alden Buckingham August 12, 1858. At 40 years of age Orrin became the father of Lavinia Buckingham May 15, 1863. At 45 years of age Orrin became the father of Gilbert Buckingham January 24, 1868.

Orrin Gilbert Buckingham and Francis J. Lewis had the following children:

157 i. Able⁸ Buckingham was born February 20, 1847. He married Lucy.

He served in the military during war time December 16, 1863 Civil War.

+ 158 ii. Ellis Buckingham was born April 12, 1849.

159 iii. Francis Mary Buckingham was born New Milford, CT July 20, 1852. Francis died February 16, 1936 Lapeer County, Michigan, at 83 years of age. She married Hiram Watkins Attica Twp, Lapeer County, Michigan, January 8, 1871.

Orrin Gilbert Buckingham and Hannah Dexter Swift had the following children:

160 iv. Hannah Dexter Buckingham was born Juanuary 24, 1854.

161 v. John Alden Buckingham was born August 12, 1858. John died August 8, 1935 at 76 years of age.

162 vi. Lavinia Buckingham was born May 15, 1863.

163 vii. Gilbert Buckingham was born January 24, 1868.
