2. Stephen Peter2 Cary (Stephen P.1) was born New York March 31, 1831. Stephen died February 9, 1911 Columbia Twp., Jackson, MI, at 79 years of age. Cause of death listed as Cancer

He married Anna Liza Turk. Per Marcia MacCready, Steven Cary and Anna Liza were married without her parents consent. They had only a bed, a stove and maybe one other thing when married.

Anna was born October 1834. Anna was the daughter of Benjamin Turk and Catherine Every. At 23 years of age Anna became the mother of Nellie Cary 1858. At 25 years of age Anna became the mother of Jennie Cary Lenawee County, Michigan, September 3, 1860. Anna became the mother of Dora Cary Lenawee County, Michigan, abt 1863.

At 27 years of age Stephen became the father of Nellie Cary 1858. At 29 years of age Stephen became the father of Jennie Cary Lenawee County, Michigan, September 3, 1860. Stephen became the father of Dora Cary Lenawee County, Michigan, abt 1863.

Stephen Peter Cary and Anna Liza Turk had the following children:

child 4 i. Myra3 Cary. She married Art Crego. i0 Nellie Cary's husband Homer is Art's brother

child 5 ii. Nellie Cary was born 1858. She married Homer Crego Columbia Twp., Jackson, MI, 11/09/1879. Homer was born 1858. Homer died 1927 at 69 years of age. His body was interred 1927 Lenawee County, Michigan, Cary Rd. Cemetary. Homer became the father of Florence Crego Michigan, abt 1882. (See Homer Crego for the continuation of this line.)

Nellie became the mother of Florence Crego Michigan, abt 1882.

child 6 iii. Jennie Cary was born Lenawee County, Michigan September 3, 1860. She married Charles R. Kelley Lenawee County, Michigan, December 28, 1881. Charles was born Britain, New York September 3, 1856. Charles was the son of Thomas Kelley and Mary Malloy. (See Charles R. Kelley for the continuation of this line.)

Jennie's occupation: Teacher.

child 7 iv. Dora Cary was born Lenawee County, Michigan abt 1863. She married John D. Kelley Columbia, Michigan, July 2, 1889. Married by "Elder" Swartout (Rev. Thomas) Witnessed by Mr. and Mrs Charley Kelley John was the son of Thomas Kelley and Mary Malloy.

John became the father of Marion L. Kelley 1897. (See John D. Kelley for the continuation of this line.)

At 34 years of age Dora became the mother of Marion L. Kelley 1897.
